Who doesn’t love staying in bed all day? We spend a third of our lives in bed, so we might as well make it as comfortable as possible. First things first, let’s pillow talk. Having the optimum pillow for you is the key ingredient to waking up refreshed, averting neck pain, and even preventing headaches. Good pillows should keep their shape and keep your head in a neutral alignment where your head rests nicely on your shoulders and isn’t too far back or too far forward. Your ideal pillow fit depends on which type of sleeper you are:
· Back Sleepers: A thinner pillow that has an extra loft (lift) at the bottom is best for you. This will help cradle your head, neck, and shoulders so that your head won’t tilt too far back. You could also try sleeping with another pillow under your knees to alleviate pressure on your lower back.
· Stomach Sleeper: You should use a soft and thin pillow to cushion the neck’s natural curve. Although, you should know that sleeping on your belly puts lots of stress on your lower back, so you should try sleeping on your side instead or hug a body pillow if you like the feeling of something pressing against your tummy.
· Side Sleeper: Firm and wide pillows are what you want and need. These pillows will provide you with the natural support that keeps the neck and spine in a straight line. You could also sleep with a pillow between your knees to better align your spine.
Now that you know your perfect pillow fit, you’re probably thinking of a pillowcase to go with it. But instead of looking for the right pillowcases to go with your bed sheets and comforter and everything else in your room, then worrying about if it all looks great together, Target has infinite bedding sets so you don’t have to think about picking what goes well with what. Other things to succeed your mission for comfort are a sturdy bedside table and a nice thick rug for your feet. Having a place for your glass of water or favourite book nearby, and the right rug to give you a tiny foot massage before stepping into bed, is essential for meeting your comfort and relaxation needs. I’ve mentioned the importance of having a candle in your room when I explained How A Minimalist Interior Can Make Your Life Better, but the main point is that it makes your room scent-sational. Rather than spending hours browsing through Target’s infinite selections and being confused on how to cosify your room, I spent hours doing that for you and handcrafted the 4 Excuses Starter-Pack To Stay In Bed:
1. I ran out of food yesterday, that was a traumatic day, I need to recover.

2. No one will ever give me as nice of a hug as my comforter will.

3. I have 1 hour 23 minutes and 39 seconds until my next class that means I have 1 hour 22 more minutes to sleep.

4. I'll do my homework tomorrow.....
