For three groovy days of peace and music, Woodstock Music & Art Fair rocked a 600-acre dairy farm in southern New York State, changing the history of rock n’ roll forever. The festival showcased 32 acts and brought in an attendance peak of 400,000 people. Back then, festival going wasn’t as complicated. No GoPros, no flexin’ for the ‘gram. All you needed was love. Flashforward 49 years and music festivals are more popular than ever, U.V. rays are a girl’s mortal enemy and looking good is almost as important as getting a great spot to catch your favorite artist. Coachella, Lollapalooza, Afropunk; you gotta come prepared. The heat is real. It’s hard out here in these boho-chic, indie-alternative streets. What’s Good Target blog has you covered. Here’s a list of six must-have health and beauty festival Target shopping finds you need to stay prepared for whatever #festivallife throws at you. (And a cute infographic to sum it all up for you!)

Sun Bum Sunscreen Face Stick , 9.99

This is skincare 101, ladies and gents! Sunscreen is a must while strolling festival grounds. This Sun Bum sunscreen stick is convenient, sheer, and most importantly non-messy. Take that sun!

Aquaphor Lip Repair + Protect SPF 30 Lip Balm, 3.99

Aquaphor is a drugstore darling and a personal favorite of mine. This moisturizing lip protectant not only hydrates all day long, but it also contains SPF 30 to protect your pout from glaring rays. You: 2, Sun: 0.

Up&Up Oil-Absorbing Sheets, 3.59

Where my oily girls at! This next song is for you! No one wants to get tagged in the group pic looking like the disco ball. These Up&Up Oil-Absorbing sheets control the summer sheen.

Yes To Coconuts Cleansing Wipes, 3.89

Festivals can be a little grimy. Especially the bathrooms.*shudders* Keep some wipes handy to control the germs. These Yes To Coconuts Cleansing Wipes are for body and face, so after a long night of turning up and jamming out you can swipe off your makeup before literally face planting into your hotel bed.

O2COOL Mist 'N Sip Double-Walled Water Bottle, 12.99

Most festivals allow you to bring your own water bottle.(It save costs and the environment!) Just fill it up at the refilling stations, but don’t wait until you’re dying of thirst. Sip frequently! This water bottle I found at Target keeps your water colder, longer and doubles as a mister.

Up&Up Travel First-Aid Kit, 4.19

Save yourself the trip to the First Aid tent and bring your own travel-size first aid kit. You’ll be labeled the mom friend, but at least you’ll be prepared for any ouchies or boo-boos.

Remember to check the rules and regs on the official website of your musical festival to make sure the items you bring are actually allowed in. No one wants to have to toss their items in trash to get inside the venue. Stay safe and happy festivaling!
